Clinical Supervision for LGPCs

LGPC Clinical Supervision in Maryland

Supporting your journey toward LCPC licensure

Beginning your career as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) is an exciting step, and quality clinical supervision is an important part of developing your skills and working toward independent licensure.

At By Your Side Counseling Services, we offer individual clinical supervision for LGPCs in Maryland. We may also offer group supervision during specified periods, depending on availability.

Maryland LGPCs are required to complete 100 hours of face-to-face clinical supervision with a Board-approved supervisor as part of the requirements for LCPC licensure. These supervision hours must be completed after obtaining a master’s degree and meet the Maryland Board’s requirements for clinical supervision.

Our practice includes a Maryland Board-approved clinical supervisor who can provide the individual supervision needed as you work toward your LCPC.

Supervision May Include:

  • Individual clinical supervision

  • Case consultation and clinical skill development

  • Support with ethical and professional decision-making

  • Developing confidence as a clinician

  • Guidance with documentation and clinical practice

  • Support navigating the transition from LGPC to LCPC

Our goal is to provide a supportive supervision experience that goes beyond simply completing required hours. We want to help you grow as a thoughtful, ethical, and confident clinician.
